I enjoy Professor Aymer's work and will enjoy reading this wee tome as well. Frederock Douglass was the philosophical theologian of African progressives beyond his years. I noted his seminal influence on Claton Powell, 1865-1953 in my intellectual biography of him which Peter Lang published in 2002 as part of a series edited by Rev. Mozella Mitchell, PhD.
