  1. Comment to William Varner's note that "[n]owhere to my knowledge has there been a monograph dedicated specifically to the comparison of these three Christian documents [i.e. Matthew, James and the Didache]".

    As a matter of fact such a monograph appeared a few years before this volume was published. See G. Garleff, "Urchristliche Identität in Matthäusevangelium, Didache und Jakobusbrief", Münster: LIT, 2004.
